In Okinawa island : Party as a format and way of communication
In 2018 at Barak Gallery we organized an associative and interactive drawing session in the setting of a party, where we played around with stereotypes and images associated with Okinawa island. We called participants from the local community and artists to bring objects and images revealing what is this place for them. From these things we created a collective installation which made a ground for sharing, discussion accompanied by local music and snacks. Collectively created graphics formed a site specific installation which reveals in between layers of touristic and historical context of Okinawa.
